Scoreboard

What is it you are trying to achieve?
Right now, i am trying to achieve making a score board for my Pong game. Really all i want to know is, how to get it to display the number when a player scores on their opponent.

Describe what you have tried to solve this problem
I haven't really tried making the scoreboard as of yet, i'm just drawing blanks on how i could do this. maybe someone could just give me a little push in the right direction.
