Dwite Round 1

-----------------------------------

Guys, I received a "not enough lines in output" error for two of my solutions in this first Dwite Contest. I tried them out on the test data posted after the contest, and they seem to working perfectly. I'm not sure what's wrong, so could someone please check this out. I don't want to lose out of 200 points in the next contest... My team's called Let Go, and this happened for problems 3 and 5.

Well, I am sorry but the judges scores are final. I'll be glad to take a look at your program if you email it to me (with your name and team name...which I know now that you have mentioned it). This could be happening because the IDE you run your program on at home probably ignores some errors that aren't ignored upon sending it to the judge.

Once again, PM me and I'll get back to you within (hopefully) a few hours (though I am kind of busy at the moment).

Another issue could be that the judge randomizes the order of the testcases. So check if your program works with the following input:

Q3

255 255
357 159
75 100
1 10
9999 9999

Q5

i had the same problem.
My friend told me it was due to time constraint.
On my machine it was an instant.
Maybe my recursion was too inefficient.

Well, if your function doesn't go in too far (i.e. your recursive stack), then it should be good.
