DIVX web player for MAC not working....

I am getting very frustrated, DIVX web player used to work, now it doesn't

i'm running MAC OS X 10.6.4, and every time i try to view videos (legal ones) i keep getting an 'you dont have DIVX player installed' etc, 

anyone else having troubles?
solutions?

I'm on 10.5 still and I've never been able to get DivX to work. Then again, I haven't tried very hard. I don't really need it.

DivX just doesn't like Safari, I've had it working in Firefox before... Though it'd prob be easier to try using Chrome or something, Firefox on Mac is a piece of crap IMO

You should be using MPlayer OSX Extended on a mac.  It's a better player.
