ur chances r pretty high (make sure all of ur marks r above 75)
if it's computer science u r interested in, u r guaranteed pretty much.
for engineering, mehh.. u still gonna make it (mostlikely)
Do good in ur calc/adv. func class since they put a lot of weight on those 2

I doubt anyone here would know, we're mostly concentrated in Ontario.

in ontario, advanced function teaches you about polynomials, basic graph sketching, finding intercepts and roots and maybe some composite function. (also it was kinda like a intro for logarithmic function)

calculus and vectors is more like finding the slope of a tangent at ANY given point, DETAILED curve sketching, derivatives and differential eqns etc etc. vectors is like lines, planes, intersection, dot product, cross product etc etc.

well it might not be the whole ontario that covers all these topics..but u get the idea.

If you have money, such as myself :), You can just pay international rates if you want too :p You pay more money, get in with lower marks. Never think its Impossible to do anything :) Besides, if else fails, use your programing knowledge and take up residential electrical, You can make alot of money in electrical.

Generally speaking, if you find calculus easy then you should have no problem acing advanced functions.
