How do i clear last line

i need help clearing a line in a program so the user of the game i am writing will understand. is there something like cls

not that i know of, but i am no master of turing....but i just looked, and there is Text.Cls, Draw.Cls, and cls....none of which will only clear one line...seems like its all or nuttin

locate

you could basicly do this:

locate (1, 1)
put ""
locate (1, 1)
