How did you find Compsci.ca?

-----------------------------------

I first found this when I searched up Turing codes on Google.
First registered when I needed help for my final project.

In the case of admins, Tony, and Dan, what gave u the idea of creating this website in the first place?

I think the poll options should be changed to 'Searching for help', 'Recommended by a friend', 'Recommended by a teacher', etc.

Really, all the options are just a modification of the same thing. I'd like to see how many people just happen to find the site, how many teachers are pointing students here, etc.

I personally found it through Google looking for Turing help back in grade 10. Good times.

Me too!

Sadly I also used Turing in grade 11 and only switched to C++ in grade 12 due to a new teacher.

My school was inconsistent. Went from Turing, to VB, to java. Then after grad Python, only to be followed this year with C++.
My head's spinning with syntax, sometimes colliding.

I feel your pain SNIPERDUDE, every year I've had to waste the first month of the semester (1/5th of the course) learning a new language before I could start the actual course material. Turing in gr. 10, then Java, then Flash/ActionScript. Guh.

You learned flash in your school? (I kinda wish I could learn flash, except the 30-day trial-then-but-it thing.)

The options are too similar. I got onto this site by a friend by the way.

But I started Turing in Grade 9
And am going to start Java in Grade 10.

@everyone: These sites are hard to come by. I thank the moderators and creators for making this site. It is a lifesaver if you are stuck and it is a half-social site. I :notworthy: to thee, oh mighty CompSci.ca
