Why do I only have 10 posts?

Title says it all...

Seriously, how come I have about 26 posts while it only says I have 10? Any ideas why?

Posts made in the off topic forum do not count towards your post count.  Post more in the general forums and your post count will go up.

But please dont make inane posts just to increase your post count...

I've been here for 6 years and dont even have 1000 posts, but it doesnt really matter... although I'm a little bitter I cannot yet access the VIP lounge.
