Compsci.ca Glitch?

-----------------------------------

For some reason, when I come to compsci.ca now, the site looks really weird.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2162996/Screen%20shot%202010-02-07%20at%206.10.20%20PM.png

It didn't do this 5 minutes ago, so maybe the admins are fixing/tweaking something. I was just wondering if it was me, or if it looked like this for everyone.

No no no, we were rather almost on topic. We were establishing which languages people can speak on these forums that require Unicode support. So far French and German suffer from this, whilst Gibberish seems okay to go. However I'm not sure about everyone's feelings on that, seeing as how most people frown on topics started in Gibberish. So all in all, my conclusion is that SniperDude's theory of an English only forum is correct.

Warhammer is what's called a real hobby. Something you put time and effort into and then feel proud when you know you've done a great job. A much better use for money and time than video games. I've got hundreds of minis worth thousands of dollars. And they were worth every penny.

Strange. I'm on my MacBook Pro on 10.6, but I only notice a very slight difference in colour if I look hard.

The color is due to using a different style (see the style drop down at the bottom of the site) however for me using IceCat on Linux the style still shows the time of the post.

I suspect that there is something wrong with the date format you selected in your account settings, i will look into it.

Update: It looks like you have a date format selected ("February 21st 2010") that does not have a time and just the date. To fix this, go to your "user control panel", select "Profile Settings" and change your date format to something with a time like "February 21st 2010, 4:02 am".

Thanks, changing the setting worked. Seems putting the 'at' is just a grammatical mistake on the forum's part (no check included?).
For the alternating colours I'm using the "subEmjay" theme the site has. If you scroll to the very bottom of the page (should work on any page here) you will find a combobox with different themes available.

I like the original subGrey the best. The other ones have too much contrast and it hurts my eyes.

For some reason the time thing worked itself out on its own. Thanks for all the help. (Sarcasm for those who think I have too much in my voice already.)

PS subGrey seems the less vomit inducing in my eyes. (Can't spell)

I don't like subgray, it reminds me how dirty my monitor is.

I use it anyway.
