Website Design: CSS and PHP

Does anyone know of a good site from which I can easily learn CSS and PHP so that I can create a professionnal website like Nero's website (I am a beginner)?
Also how can I set a website backgrount so it looks like it is still but the content in the center (table) is only moving?

For your first question, the [url=http://www.w3schools.com/css/]W3 Schools CSS tutorial is great. I wouldn't know about PHP.
