just read this on the news here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/8223005.stm

and after googling apparently apple have been trying to cover this up for a long time.

good bye to apple dominating the smart phone industry  :D
and good luck to those who owns iphones or other apple products :P

Apple replaces iPhones for issues much less severe than this. This isn't going to change the market share.

Enjoy your exploding Sony laptop batteries though (Dell, et. al. circa 2006). ;)

Windows mobile, Android, and RIM phones are getting better and better.  Just wait till this holiday season and u will see.  In a year or two I dont think Apple will have as much of the smart phone market as they currently do.

what actually happens is that 1/500 calls for problems with iphones are legitimate (all from battery over-heating), and all the others are from french people trying to get a free replacement for there own mistake like dropping it and the screen cracking. 

"Seems like the French iPhone "explosion" plague is just a stupid summer media craze fed by some stupid French people."
