That might or might not be a good idea. One of the views is that you'll be well ahead of the class (at least in terms of syntax) and not pay attention to the way your teacher wants you to approach your assignments. There's a chance that your own coding habits might clash with what is expected. It could be more interesting to play with a different language, so that you wouldn't end up learning the same thing twice. Besides, a lot of concepts are easily transferable between languages. ----------------------------------- cwarrior Thu Aug 06, 2009 8:50 am Re: Grade 11 U Computer Science Course ----------------------------------- so you are starting grade 11, I recommend you mostly focus on math if you want a career in computer science, with that said if you are intelligent and have common sense that programming course will be easy for you no matter what language they use. Just focus on having fun and getting girls.
