BA Fallout 3 desktop.

P.S. You can press the print screen key in Linux and it will usually pop up with a dialogue asking you to save your screenshot. On Windows you press print screen, then open up MS Paint or something and paste into it.

For the magority of the time this is what my desktop has been this summer.
Dan, I highly recommend checking out [url=http://awesome.naquadah.org/]AwesomeWM. It is ideal for console-oriented use, yet maintaining the usability of GUI apps.

For those interested, it has the following default bindings: [url=http://awesome.naquadah.org/doc/manpages/awesome.1.html]Link.
It is highly configurable! You can literally program it to your liking, using Lua (and perhaps other languages). For more information, check out the [url=http://awesome.naquadah.org/wiki/Main_Page]Wiki

It runs under 10k, and when you have that many skins open, it doesnt look nice, and "heavy" as you put it so.
