Does anyone have the solution to the problem? I have never been able to solve optimization problems like this one and I want to learn the idea behind the solution.

Hanson, of woburn collegiate institute, solved it.

He only got 1/5 testcases, eventhough it works for everything!!!

I have no idea why!

(u can look at his code for #5. his team name is 'hanson')

It looks like he got 5/5 to me, unless you mean one of his submsions got 1/5 and then he fixed it to get 5/5.

Hanson didn`t get perfecd on the October dwite, he  would have if he had removed the cin.ignore().
