If there is something "hot" on the plate, I'll check mail hourly or minutely. With nothing hot, it may be weeks between checks. Plus pidgin notifies me of any email in hotmail. :) I'm almost addicted to checking. :o Sometimes I'll just let them pile up for days, but I do check often.
