This summer and the past summer I've worked fulltime co-op during the summer with about a week off before and after. The two summers before that I worked at McDonald's part-time. It wasn't as many hours (about 30 a week, and I didn't have to drive 1 hour to get there), but it still wasn't the do-nothing summer I had after grade 9 (or like most of my classmates now have - because they STILL don't have jobs). But believe me, especially if you're in post secondary and a serious relationship, you need a job. The management only got paid $10/hr cap, and I make more then that sitting at a computer. But it's good work for a 15-year-old. Union doesn't do much for you at that point except take money. They were actually pretty good at dealing with employees, at least they were for my first. Hence I went to WalMart instead. Which also sucked. So did my next job =/
