After entering text...my menu moves along with it .

Hello everyone,

I have this nagging problem with my website and I'm not quite sure how to fix, I've tried for some time but it keeps on happening.

I'm trying to create something like an iTunes for Movies (Very basic) Website,  and I've created tables in which to add text inside, movie pictures, descriptions , costs, etc. But before I can even start, the text I want to add is ending up in the middle of the table, it won't even go to the top of the table to begin typing! AND, when I click enter to move text down the page, the tables on the left side which consist of links to go to other pages and what not in the site move along with it! Stretching out the the link tables on the side! Please, any help will be appreciated to resolve this problem :(

BTW I'm using Dreamweaver Cs3 if that made any difference to anything =D

should fix your, text in the middle of the cell problem.

How comfortable do you feel just using HTML and notepad to make this site? I mean dreamweaver's great but unless you're good with it it can get tough to get EXACTLY what you want because obviously the program only interprets what it thinks you want. That site seems simple enough to code in HTML thoroughly.

Well I could give it a shot but right now I'm just doing what I think looks good , no coding.. I'm not even too sure where to put that code you gave me lol .. Can you tell me where I can imput that code btw?

My teacher gave us really no instructions it's kinda like, your on your own kids...so I'm entirely lost : (..

And the menu on the side continues to move when i click enter so I don't know : (...

Jeff it's working now no worries, it just needed to be placed underneath body x)
