Some records are better off left un-broken [not for those with small intertubes]

-----------------------------------

So ottawa is within striking distance of setting a new record for snowfall, it's great setting a new record! Unfortunately it also means that I have to shovel that much snow. Not at all fun.

so, without further ado, an image of the snowbank.

The one in the rear of my house is about as tall as that, if not a bit taller. The front isn't quite as bad because we have a snowblower, but it's still about as tall as I am.

You and your snowblower. Shoveling builds character.

Of course the BBQ is visible; all you need to do it light it and it clears itself! :P

The rain and warm weather this week have diminished the snow a little bit; but mostly just cleared ruts in the road so that it's a danger to drive in places. The ruts are as deep as 6 " in places.

You should see the washout on some of the county roads around here. If I get the oppurtunity, I'll take some pictures and post them.
