clearing pictures

For my grade 9 class.  Is there a possibility of deleting imported pictures using the whatdotcolor function?  for example, if the picture is shot at it disappears?  When I do that the dot just goes right over the picture.  Any suggestions would be appreciated

I understand the theory behind it.  It has to recognize that the picture is there and put some sort of area around it so that when it is hit, that  bubble would be filled in but I'm not sure about the code.  Is there a tutorial on this?

The important thing you need to know is weather or not the shot hit a picture. The rest is easy from there.
