I think I'll also throw in some other computer options like age, storage space, speed... curiosity was always my downfall :P /me notes that you can't have multiple poll questions; doesn't that suck! I guess I'll just leave it up to people to fill the form out themselves :P How many monitors do you have? What kind are they (LCD, CRT, Projector)? Two, both LCD. How big are they? 20' wide screen and 19' normal What resolutions do you run? 1400x1050 and 1280x1024. Both run a unified desktop How many computers do you have? 4, only three of which get any use. Server, Workstation/storage server, and a laptop. How old is/are your computer(s)? Server: 7, workstation: 5, laptop: I've had it for one, but it's 3 or 4 years old. How much storage do you have in each computer? How much do you actually use? Server: 40gB total, maybe 10gB used Workstation: 120gB for the system and programs, of which 58gB is dedicated to this install, 3.5gB used. 1.4TB for /home, of which 973gB is used. Laptop: 80gB total, maybe half that used. How fast is/are your computer(s)? Server: 1.5gHz P4 w/o HT Workstation: 2.8gHz P4 w/ HT Laptop: 1.5gHz PM w/o HT How much memory do(es) your computer(s) have? Server: 512mB Workstation: 1280mB Laptop: 1024mB Which computer do you use most if you have more then one? Split between the laptop and my workstation, but I probably spend more on the workstation. What OS(s) do you use? Workstation: Less then 1 year. Server 1: 4-5 years Server 2: old, dunno how old I found it on the side of the road. How much storage do you have in each computer? How much do you actually use? How much storage do you have in each computer? How much do you actually use? Laptop has 80 GB (almost all used), desktop has 820 GB (few hundred GB are actually used). How fast is/are your computer(s)? Laptop is a 2 GHz C2D, desktop is a 1.83 GHz C2D. How much memory do(es) your computer(s) have? 1 GB and 2 GB. How much storage do you have in each computer? How much do you actually use? both desktops have 200GB, of which 150GB is used in the one, and 190 is used in the other. My laptop has 120GB harddrive, which is split into three partitions, 2 for windows and Ubuntu install, each 10 GB, with the last 100GB being used as the storage partition. How fast is/are your computer(s)? Laptop 1.6GHz C2D, Desktops P4 @ 4.0GHz, and AMD Athalon, the other three are varied P1s and P2s How much memory do(es) your computer(s) have? Desktop 1: 512MB, Desktop 2: 1 GB, Laptop 1GB, Others: Combined total of 64MB Which computer do you use most if you have more then one? Laptop. What OS(s) do you use? One soon to be server, one soon to be desktop, one soon to be replaced laptop. How old is/are your computer(s)? By date of purchase, just about 3 years. By performace, about 4 or 5. For the newish one, about a year and a half. How much storage do you have in each computer? How much do you actually use? 160GB, but partitioned badly. I have about 20GB of usable space altogether. Eurocom laptop is 4 months old but was upgrade today in ram, alineware laptop is almost 5 years, dell laptop is almost 8 years, hp tablet is 5 months, crapy server is unknow (parts where taken from many diffrent free socres), media center is about 1 year old.
