----------------------------------- Dan Tue Nov 27, 2007 2:24 pm Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- Update: The holtsoft website is now down, but you can get turing on our site here: http://compsci.ca/holtsoft/ Update2: The holtsoft website is back up, but you can still get turing on our site here: http://compsci.ca/holtsoft/ as well as the unreleased Turing 4.1.2 Turing is now free from holt soft. You can find it on there site: http://www.holtsoft.com/ Or you can fallow this link directly for 4.1.1a: http://www.holtsoft.com/Turing%204.1.1a.zip ----------------------------------- LaZ3R Tue Nov 27, 2007 7:00 pm RE:Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- WOW!!! FINALLY :D Thanks :) Cya later 4.0.5!! :D ----------------------------------- Lawlly Wed Dec 12, 2007 5:21 pm RE:Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- im kind of new to turing.. mind explaining what's so bad about 4.0.5? ----------------------------------- michaelp Sat Jan 19, 2008 9:30 am Re: Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- 4.1.1a is newer ??? ----------------------------------- Sean Sat Jan 19, 2008 9:34 am Re: Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- Yes.. ----------------------------------- ericfourfour Sat Jan 19, 2008 10:51 am RE:Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- Turing 4.1.1a dropped support for Error.Trip which, consequently, made the Lexer class stop working. Config.Lang (clRelease) still returns 405 so there is no way to differentiate between 4.0.5 and 4.1.1a. If this did work properly, programmers could use conditional compilation (#if) to know when to use Error.Trip or not. Turing 4.1, the previous version, improved the Pic module's speed and features. I also think the Sprite module was improved. ----------------------------------- agnivohneb Sat Apr 05, 2008 1:13 pm RE:Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- OMG HoltSoft has no website!!!! just went to holtsoft today to get turing for a friend and I get a forbidden error on the home page. ----------------------------------- Mackie Sat Apr 05, 2008 1:30 pm RE:Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- Holtsoft is out of business. We think. Until someone contacts t hem to get distribution rights, you can't legally get it. ----------------------------------- X2_star Mon Apr 07, 2008 3:21 pm Re: Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- lol.... how could we get? ----------------------------------- agnivohneb Tue Apr 08, 2008 8:25 am Re: RE:Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- you can't legally get it. Then why did they put it up for free a while ago. ----------------------------------- DaveAngus Tue Apr 08, 2008 8:55 am RE:Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- Why did holtsoft go out of buisness?!!?!?!?! ----------------------------------- SJ Tue Apr 08, 2008 7:26 pm RE:Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- Is there any other good turing IDEs? ----------------------------------- Mackie Tue Apr 08, 2008 8:07 pm RE:Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- No, Turing was made solely, by Holtsoft. OpenT was going to be the 2nd. But, I think that's dead now to. I could be wrong? ----------------------------------- jinjin Tue Apr 08, 2008 8:26 pm Re: Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- lol.... how could we get? There's a mirror of Turing 4.1.1a on the compsci blog as well. Check it out here for anyone who needs it: http://compsci.ca/blog/?attachment_id=435 (Click the hyperlinked words "Turing 4-1-1a.zip" in blue right below the title for a direct download link to the zipped file.) Note: Credits + thanks to Tony for the mirror. ----------------------------------- Xravens04 Thu Apr 10, 2008 2:57 pm RE:Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- since holtsoft isn't working where can we get a download for turing? ----------------------------------- Carey Thu Apr 10, 2008 11:47 pm RE:Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- look one post up ----------------------------------- efan41 Wed Nov 04, 2009 2:58 pm Re: Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- Only downside to turing 4.1.1 is that you can't generate stand alone programs... :x ----------------------------------- ReCreate Sun Nov 08, 2009 7:56 pm RE:Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- That's strange, why would they remove a feature? ----------------------------------- D_homes Sun Nov 08, 2009 8:27 pm Re: RE:Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- That's strange, why would they remove a feature? I don't think they removed it, correct me if I'm wrong but i think there was a bug in the update preventing you from making a stand alone program ----------------------------------- TheSecretWaterBender Fri Oct 22, 2010 4:58 pm RE:Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- http://compsci.ca/blog/download-turing-411/ ----------------------------------- Jesse Kazemi Tue Jun 17, 2014 11:28 am Re: Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- http://compsci.ca/holtsoft/ ----------------------------------- jesse kazomi Tue Jun 17, 2014 4:25 pm Re: Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- wobbling wobbling :D ----------------------------------- gohabsgo007 Fri Jan 09, 2015 6:17 pm Re: Where to get Turing ----------------------------------- UMS
