Python 3.0 Alpha 1 Released

-----------------------------------

The folks working on Python have finally [url=http://www.python.org/download/releases/3.0/]released Python 3000 into the wild in alpha form. This new release breaks compatibility with Python 2.x and includes many underlying changes. Only download and install if you want to do some alpha testing and don't mind potentially breaking your existing setup. The full version should be out in 2008.

For a somewhat detailed overview of major changes, check out [url=http://www.arstechnica.com/journals/linux.ars/2007/09/02/afirst-look-at-python-3-0-alpha-1?bub]this article.
