Hey, I've been frustrated lately with my torrents. Even when thousands of seeders are showing, the torrent refuses to start. I use utorrent and have hacked the tcp halfopen ports and done all the optimizations. I use wireless internet but I never had a problem before. Can anyone suggest anything?

are you not connecting to the peers or are they just not sending you data?
i dont understand what you mean by "hacked the tcp halfopen ports" but i'm going to assume you're suggesting port forwarding.

what router are you using?

the maximum tcp halfopen ports for windows is 10 by default. There is a patch to make it 50, since it improves download speeds. I am using a linksys router.

It could also be that the torrent you are trying to download is a private torrent and only aviable to users of a crent site or have a crent cleint.

If you are runing this from a school or goverment orgasation, alot of peoleop have ip fillters that list any goverment orgrastion and some schools to keep from geting sued by the RIAA and other groups. If your ip matches thess it could be blocked.
