I was very bored one day on my computer so i made this, even tho it's not that hard it was frustrating trying to get it lined up.

This is aucatly how some programs do window trasnaprncy with out needed any use of 3d librays or advaced graphics programs. Noramly they apply a tint to the background image to make it look like glass and update the tge image each time the window is moved.

I have also seen some realy cool backgrounds for computers where they take a pictuter directly behind there computer montoer, play with the pic in photoshop a bit and then set it as there wallpaper so it looks like you can see threw the montor to the wall behind it.

something [url=http://farm1.static.flickr.com/209/453996502_4bd63d5196.jpg?v=0]like this.

Mmm... [url=http://flickr.com/groups/transparentscreens/pool/]more transparancies...

You could probably set this up with a higher end webcam (iSight ?) to have the background change if the laptop was to be moved.

Of course, that whole idea only works if the observer is in the right spot. Oh well.
