Deleting tabs in Word97

How do you delete a text in a tab without deleting the text on an other tab in Word 97?

dont got worad 97 so i cant help much. but cant you go in to the view where it shows tabs and shuch as codes like in html?

it may be the view ur in...cuz when i use word 97 it dusn't have the tabs..
