Getting "Ready" (Java IDE) to work under Ubuntu

I can't seem to get Ready (Java) to work under Wine in Ubuntu :|. I know that it isn't recommended to use Ready but under the circumstances at my school we must code in the hsa console, so i have no other choice, (i want to code within Ubuntu rather than continuously start up windows just for Ready). So any help would be appreciated to get this working . :lol:

To start, I accidentally hit report instead of quote. :( Ignore that mods.

I hardly find that to be a reasonable excuse. Tell your teacher that you refuse to use a library that's sole purpose is to confuse programmers when they get to more advanced programming. If your teacher does not agree, go to someone who has higher authority and will understand.

Well "high authority" and "understand" rarely apply to such issues. A more reasonable approach would be to claim that you simply don't have an access to a Windows machine (hey, quite a few of us here really don't), but offer to work with Java instead. That seems like a more reasonable attempt at getting out of Ready.

Though since it's mostly just the weird library (and looking at your screenshot), it looks like you just need to place the files in a proper directory, or append your PATH to find all the includes.
