right click wierdness

my screen goes blank for 1 second when i right click on avi type files (only that)... why is that?

perhaps you have some sort of virus that causes this, or some sort of weird slowdown has occurred when you right click on it? If you haven't tried a full system scan, I suggest you do.

i removed all file associations with windows media player 11, and this problem doesnt exist anymore =)

stupid Media Player 11, do you plan on doing a re-install and see if that helps?
