I find it ironic that the more "neat" the program is, the less attention they recieve. I realize this doesn't hold true in some cases. You know, it's a bit of paradox really.. "neat" programs would probably go underappreciated by those just starting out with Turing. On the other hand, those of us capable to appreciate the finer details of programming are likely to not have Turing available as it's not cross-platform (yet :wink: ) I suggest posting screen-shots if applicable :) ----------------------------------- md Wed Dec 06, 2006 5:37 pm ----------------------------------- neat or not, the first program anyone writes, while certainly a personal accomplishment, is usually not worthy of much attention from people who have more experience. I find that the most interesting things posted here are not written in Turing; and thus are limited to being appreciated by people who know other languages. Unfortunately most of hte compsci.ca users only know (or are learning) Turing, so other more interesting things usually go unnoticed. Often people who post have suggestions or criticisms. So perhaps, ericfourfour, you should be happy that no one is really posting much in response to your programs.
