Volume in An Application

How would I change the volume in a application I created when using the Microsoft Multimedia Control ( for example in a game where in the options menu you can change it).

Well here's a link to an example you can download. I've tested it and it works but not very well and there is an error in the code. The variable "q" needs to be changed to integer instead of string.
