----------------------------------- bugzpodder Sun Sep 10, 2006 1:32 pm laptop reviews ----------------------------------- it has occured to me how foolish some people are. there was a link off of yahoo's main website to its laptop recommendation page for a toshiba satellite m35-s456, which costs $1500. I glanced at the specs and found them to be really sub-par. however what i find even more disturbing is some of the user reviews: It's "fast", hard drive is "pretty large", screen is "super bright", battery life is "pretty good", you can listen to a CD or watch a DVD "without booting regularly", just push media express button so "media player pops up speedily" speakers are "freakishly small"... I mean wtf?!?! and this review is ocmparitively better than most others, including one liners "it is the coolest laptop i have ever owned." Apple, Linux, Firefox.. etc. Generally it will be a mix of extremely positive and extremely negative reviews (proportions depending on the location serveyed)
