Its just too established to disappear like that. I've enjoyed the campaigns for SC and WC1-3, and casual multiplayer rounds with friends, but the hardcore expert level the gameplay is a huge turnoff. The entire game seems to be less about overall strategy, tactics & teamwork (which I agree, have some part) - than who can hammer out the keyboard shortcuts most efficiently and send off the biggest Zerg rush the soonest. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I don't seem to have the patience I used to for micro management. ----------------------------------- chrispminis Thu Jun 15, 2006 6:46 pm ----------------------------------- This is a very interesting view you have there codemage. One Ive never heard before. Of course, in my opinion, micro is not boring, and takes skill. Also the online games are definitely not nearly as static as you portray them. Sure micro is a lot, but its not as if its 3 units, rock paper scissors, gameplay. Terrain and strategy are huge. As for efficiency, it is after all, an RT strategy.
