maya questions

k so im using personal learning edition because im cheap and i cant seem to paint stuff or export renders as jpegs or normal pictures
how do i paint/ apply colour and export renders?

I think that learning edition Maya doesn't allow you to save renders. The best you could do is to take a screencap as you you already did, and crop to the render window.

It's been a while since I've used Maya, so can't comment on textures.

It does, but It puts a "MAYA LEARNING EDITION" watermark (or w/e) over it, I used it a while ago... I think its under "render". To paint and add textures, don't you just select the object(s) and right click- go to textures or something? I should realyl get maya back, though my computer is so slow that it takes forever to render.

Though, I find maya way easier to use XD Not sure why... hmm, first program I used maybe? I would get the ultimate edition but... its like 5k o.O
