ericfourfour's Particle Engine

-----------------------------------

In this particle engine all of the particles move towards and around the mouse but once they get far enough away they drop to the bottom of the screen. When the particles are on the bottom of the screen they will slowly move towards the middle.

There is a data file so you can customize the constants.
The first one is the gravity. The second one is the amount of particles. The third on is the distance the particles have to be away from the mouse before they fall. The fourth one is the mouse gravity.

Also if you press the left mouse button the particles will move at their starting angle. It is pretty cool to do this when the particles are all at the bottom of the screen on the middle and then let go. If you press the middle mouse button everything will freeze until you release it. If you press the right mouse button all of the particles' coordinates and velocities reset.

Everything is in the zip

its the second number (1000)

It's definately cool, and how you can use the mouse. . . but after the first take off, its hard to understand what the dots are doing, but cool.

Well I was trying to have the dots accelerate towards the mouse and then fly away in the same direction and then come back however it's very complicated since i barely know any trig
