Microsoft is providing a tutorial to go from scratch to a space shooting game using C#. The tutorial consists of ten thirty-minute long videos. Worth checking out if that's your thing.

/\ what helped me start my 3d game which totaly sucks right now... I was thinking a gta style game based in SunnyVale Trailer Park (Trailer Park Boys) or a dragon slaying game...
