Help I can't figure this out

-----------------------------------

Okay I started a project for school that has a huge level of difulculty. First I need to gain access to the hardware and second control CPU scaling

Hi, Welcome to compsci.
Question #1: What has this got to do with Turing?
Question #2: Why did you post it in the Turing Tutorials when there is a Turing Help section.
Comment: Can some mod move this to an appropriate forum?

I'm fairly certain you can't write a kernel in turing; the support just isn't there without adding to the compiler. A kernel will require assembly code (as will CPU scaling) and turing does not allow assembly in any way shape or form.

Let's give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that he is in fact dealing with Turing. :P

might as well just stick to C, forget Turing.

Wow.. Leaving Ring3 with turing.. now I HAVE heard everything. Let me know how it works out.. or doesn't work out.. depending on how you look at it..

Pffft..
