Apple specifically said they have no problem with people putting windows on hte systems. in a quote fom steve jobs. " we have done nothing to prevent users from running windows" the problem was not a security hole or anything , it wa the fact that intel macs use EFI to boot , and Windows XP (yes i know hte 64 bit does EFI , but hte intel macs are 32 Bit so its not really relavent) and Vista use BIOS. BIOS will soon be replaced hopefully , but before you go posting about no perfect machines, learn about what your talking about. Technically using EFI is doing something to prevent windows XP from running, since it does not support EFI (in any version right now iirc). You are right about everything having holes, but the thing is with OS suported by open sorce comunitys thos holes are fixed in days if not hours of being relaced since every one has a copy of the sorce.
