Well, excuuuuse me, princess.  8-) 

The third console title I ever played (after SMB and Duck hunt, of course)... and still one of my favourites ever.

I've played every game in the series since - lots of great titles, but nothing quite as revolutionary as the first.  A full inventory system, shops, multiple weapons, non-linear questing.

*sigh*...
