Checkers game

I need to make a stupid checker game for computer science and i have no idea how to do that! The only part i know how to make is the board and i'm trying to make the pieces...but not really working very well! Does anyone know how to make a checker game! Please Help ME...I'm in desperate need of help now!!!!

yes..i know you don't do assignments. i meant can you teach me how to move the checker pieces? Because i surely have no clue how to. Does this involve with if..then..else? and what is case of?

Moving pieces:
- make variables that will describe piece's location on board
- get input
- change variables
- redraw pieces

Easy?  Sure is.  Confused?  Check out the Tuts, especially the intro one.  Additionally, post up some code so we can see what you're experimenting with.

You could have a boolean for each square to decide if you should draw a checker peice there.  You would also need a variable to decide if it should be red or black.  Then just Draw.FillOval on the square if true.[/code]

It's near impossible to answer your question without knowing how much you know.

Do you know arrays?  2D arrays?  Records and Types?  Classes?
