first of all -whats so exciting about this?
second of all - probly could have been done in less then 10 lines, but since its ur first program, its ok

There's a much easier and more efficient way of doing this...

proc typingPut (word : string)
    for strIndex : 1 .. length (word)
        put word (strIndex) ..
        delay (Rand.Int (75, 300))
    end for
end typingPut

colourback (black)
colour (brightgreen)
cls
typingPut ("Welcome to the Matrix 110101011!! Isn't this a lot easier?")
If you don't understand anything in there, I suggest you read the Turing Walkthrough from beginning to as far as you can.

*edit* This is the problem with not refreshing... Well, it's 11 lines, but that's for simplicity and readability. :)

It's an avatar, go to Profile at the top, then scroll to the bottom where you'll see a section where you can use a picture from the internet (under or equal to 100 x 100 pixels), by entering the url, if you want to use your own picture use an image hosting site such as www.photobucket.com i think.

-----------------------------------

Yes, it does have to be within the restrictions. Otherwise it pushes the tables over, and makes the forums unbearable.

You can easily scale it down. *snicker* irfanview!!11!

Why arent there automatic built in restrictions for the avatar sizes, I mean, allowImage = false when avatar size > x.

just newbcake is a custom title, which never changes. I'm pretty sure there is a bug that randomly names newbies to "just newbcake", but I may be mistaken and you have done something utterly stupid which someone didn't like ;). If you wish to change it, kindly ask either Tony or Hacker Dan to change it for you, and they probably will if, again, you haven't done something stupid.

Normally the ranks change based on the amount of posts you have. Check the [url=http://www.compsci.ca/v2/faq.php]FAQ for more info.
