Final Project Help Needed

I have a final project due that consists of making a character based game woth key movement! My Problem is, I can't figure out how to move a character left, right and down only up.    :?

ASOK...i think you should lock this...my reasons are as follows:
1) look at the guys thread title
2) there is a tutorial on this
3) if he looked, he wouldve noticed a previously ongoing thread about this by a guy named Woodbridge....
