This sounds like a project for that TEE course. We do not do your homework for you.

To help you out, two commands you will most probably need to use are parallelput and parallelget.

LED's are "light emitting diodes", generally small and fairly weak lights, they can last for a very long time without replacement.

Only the cheap crappy versions (red and yellow mostly) are weak. A white LED gives off far more light for it's size than any other man-made light source. It only appears not to because of the small size you mentioned earlier. And the "very long time" without replacement is usually more than 100,000 hours (of being on, plus being switched on and off doesn't shorten their lifespan)

I beleve she ment the seven segment display. Its like not technically a led bulb, but the little screen you see in calculators that print out a number. I have the course too :D!
If you want to print out the number, like Gandalf said, you use Parallelget and Parallelput!
