Changing letters

Hey guys i have this code so far and my aim is to make a little program that alters the first letter of any word you type in this is what i have so far 

var letter:int:=Rand.Int(97,122)
var word : string

put "Enter a word and i will change the first letter"
get word 

But now im lost i dont know what to do after this any ideas to help me?
