Bullet Time Pong v.2

-----------------------------------

here is my second version of bullet time pong. if you want a single player game uncomment the line 301.

Instructions: Player 1 uses 'w' to go up, 's' to go down and 'a' to go into slow motion. Player 2 uses the arrow keys and shift to go into slw motion

Throw all of your images and code into a zip file, most people aren't going to want to open up the image, save it and repeat.

Interesting way of doing pong, makes it a little less boring.

Problems:
- You can stop the computer player by pressing the appropriate letters on the keyboard.

- You can use the computer's "bullet time"

- The AI isn't really al lthat well done. I mean, there's not much you can do about AI in a simple pong game, but the computer will never miss. You make the paddle equal to the ball position. For instance, i held the computer down with 'w' (which is the first error) then i let go and he teleported to the ball. Randomize it up a little bit with his placement, speed and direction (at least let the user think the computer might mess up)

And lastly, you can easily have the user change whether or not the game is 1 or 2 players in the actual game. Just add some 'if' statements and a boolean variable to tell the program to run/not run the AI and to disable/enable the player 2 controls.

Work on those things. The game's lookin good so far tho.

You should change the paddles. Use something cooler than lines. But that's just my humble opinion. :notworthy:

Judging by the rapid succession of the posts, I'm going to assume you were both in a class together at that time. Therefore, there's no need to spam the boards with useless remarks, when you could just talk to each other in real life.

But even if you couldn't chat at that time in real life, the point remains: please don't spam the boards.
