@insectoid: I agree that it looks pretty bad, but I thought that the idea was cool. Also, the touch screen is probably strong enough to withstand drops from an average person's height. I have a broken iPod touch and an iPhone and it's near impossible to damage that screen.

And they're marketing the screen as multitouch which is completely pointless when there's barely room for 2 fingers on the screen at once :/... Even better though is the iPod Shuffle, finally back to having physical controls like 2 generations ago unlike last generation when apple moved controls to the headphones pretty much making it impossible to use most non-apple headphones =__=

I think it's kind rather ugly. I wonder if they've managed to maintain the same battery life or if the touch screen reduces it. The nice thing about the previous nanos with the wheel control is that you could drop them and whatever and they'd be fine. I dunno how durable the touch screen is. Imo, Apple should scrap the nano altogether. If you're willing to pay $150 for an music player, you might as well pay the $80 extra for a Touch. I personally detest iTunes and iPods, but I'm still using a 1st gen 2g iPod 'cause I got it for free.

Have you guys seen the new iPod Nano? It looks nice and all, but the interface looks kind of tedious and annoying to use, especially with only 1 physical button.

Yeah, I sometimes get that with my Rogers modem. Resetting both the modem and router usually does the trick.
