SuperGenius, I hope you die a million deaths, each one a thousand times more painful and prolonged than the last.

if it keeps going on like this
cal,tampa,cal,tampa,cal..
calgary is gonna win--- I have to say both teams are good.. and ti looks like tampa is better-- just that they don't get good shots ;D

I agree that both teams are good, but I think that calgary is better. If you watched the games you would see that calgary is outplaying the lightning, except for game 2. Because tampa has such a good goalie, calgary's advantage on the ice usually doesnt translate into an advantage on the score board.

Why the fuck is Dauntless so pissed off.

I jinx [fecal matter] because I jinx [fecal matter]. I'm the non-comformist on these boards, but to realize that you should get your head out of mother's [rear-end]. [Female dog].

(I didn't really mean that)

Ya but take a look at how many shots calgary has got-- and take a look at the play... I am hoping that calgary wins the cup, but just looking at the game play

exactly. In game 5 yestarday, and throughout most of the series calgary has been outplaying tampa. Yestarday calgary was able to mount a few attacks where they would maintain control of the puck in the tampa zone for a long time, getting good(but not that many) shots on knabibulin(sp?)
Tampa didn't have the same kind of momentum, when they got the puck into calgary's zone it didnt stay there as long as when calgary got it into tampa's zone.

ya but look how fast they caught up and did you see the overtime shot of calgary? it was kinda luck -.-

Oh jonos, claiming you're the non-conformist. Everyone is conforming to some type of norm; punks think they're rebelling when they're just conforming to society's place for fringe groups like that. Likewise, you think you're rebelling, but you're really just being the stereotypical guy who is a rebel just for the sake of being a rebel.

lets take a poll then: of the people who watched game 5, which team do you think played better?

Damn right!

Actually I'm rebelling against the teenage generation just for the sake of conforming to my grandparents' generation.

You are misinformed on that aspect.

elnlighten me then. What specifically are you rebelling against?

Author:  jonos [ Sat Jun 05, 2004 9:20 pm ]
Post subject:

Gay people.

Actually no, I'm rebelling against my generation which is too busy hugging trees and making peace signs to realize what I am rebelling against. Basically, I'm rebelling against left-wingers and the teachers which seek to influence me.

At the time of writing Tampa and Calgary are tied at 2, with Calgary playing awesome. I'd like to say that, as a Canadian, I am rooting for Calgary.

see Amailer? Calgary is owning tampa bay. The reason that it isnt over is because their goals were flukey.

I do not think that it is my fault. I think that it is a conspiracy against the flames.

This is Martin Gelinas' (the eliminator) shot in the third period of game 6. It was not even closely reviewed at the time, and was not counted.

EDIT: my picture got screwed up somehow, ill fix it when i get on my other computer

Also on monday's coach's corner don cherry discussed a play by a tampa player which lead to the OT goal in game 6. A calgary player had posession of the puck and was skating out of the zone along the boards, and a tampa player had fallen and was lying perpindicular to the boards. He saw the calgary player comming and stuck his legs out at the last moment, tripping the calgary player and causing him to lose the puck. The tampa defenceman picked it up and shot it, and scored. I dont like to see any missed penalty calls, which there were a lot of, but there is no question that during overtime of a critical game, there can be no leniency.

damm that cup is stuck in sad old america.. this sucks.. when on earth will it come back.. 'home'

Author:  SuperGenius [ Wed Jun 09, 2004 9:55 pm ]
Post subject:

I imagine the cup will come to canada soon, because every member of the team (not just players) gets the cup for 1 day, and so many of them are canadian so I am sure some of them will bring it home.. but as for a canadian team winning the cup, I predict it will happen within 3 years.
