I drew the capsule button fairly well, but I'm trying to make a "crystal ball" now, doing basically the exact same stuff, but it doesn't come out right. It looks WAY too fake. Tell me what you thinkI have to do to fix it.

the highlight oval on top ruins it... maybe if you were to blur it's edges  |

grab a marble and shine a flashlight over it, the edges don't blur. 
I'm going for the realistic as possible. EDIT: It's the raw PNG drawn in Fireworks so you can open it up and see the all the individual layers and applied effects and see what I'm doing wrong as well. |

I think you need to make the shine or w/e you wanna call it.. it's optical needs to be a bit less so it blends in with the rest of the picture. |

Friend its perfect, no need to change here. Nice and very beautiful work, but if you like to changing something in it then you should change its text design. Keep this fine work. Thanks for sharing this. |
