Here are what ur suppose to do: Contact the person your suppose to face thru whatever means, email, msn, PM etc. Set up a time with them for Yahoo chess (You need a Yahoo ID). Decide among ur selves whether u want a 1 match decide all, or 2/3. Take a screenshot of ur win, report back to me thru PM. Tell me if ur having trouble finding the person ur suppose to face. Well Update: The first match in the tournament: Me Vs Zylum It was a normal start as zylum brought out his knights. Then he'd promised to bring on the Fury. I was shaking in my socks... But in the end I prevailed, on Zylum's mistake I took his rook (or was it bishop?) Anyway, it was checkmate. Zylum's promised mutilation hasn't occured...... yet. I'm going back soon for my second match of the 3. |

Who would like it to be double knockout? you have to loose 2 times for elimination. For example: Zylum lost to me in 1 game, he can decide to make it 2/3 and see if he beats me in the next game, if he loses then he is eliminated. Or he can decide for it to be a 1 game deciding, which means he lost to me, but is NOT eliminated and gets to face the looser of another round. And therefore have a chance of getting to to top. Who would like this? |

The problem with me and chess is that I'm not patient enough to look at all the pieces and see their possible moves, I just make sure the place I move to is free of danger and then move it there - usually at the expence of a piece in the vicinity of the past moved piece though. Maybe I will take the next game slower. I've lost every single game I've ever played on Yahoo! so I don't think I will beat Bugzpodder. No comment on my absence. |

chess is simple reall.. just look at all the possiable moves your opponent can make and you ccan make, then look at the moves opponent** can make after making your move and hmm ya  |

unless your opponent has been playing for 34 years and thinks like 10 turns ahead of you, and u don't see the "mate in 6" until he says so, and THEN u still can't see it... That was the person I was facing the other day... I didn't have a chance... |

i think you have to think at least 16 moves ahead to even stand a chance against kasporov... the computer i think can think 2-3 million moves per second... anywayz that guy you were playing were probably using chess-master... a lot of them do these days |

on a more serious note, look *at least* two moves ahead. it doesnt matter how good your move looks, it is useless if it doesnt prevent a checkmate. |

I contacted we64 early last week. he said he would like to wait till weekend. I contacted on on sat, he said he'd wait till saturday night. I waited until 11:40pm and all day sunday but he still didnt say anything.... anywayz i am off to waterloo for a week so i dont think the game is going to be completed this week |
