We're going for a guiness world record here... let's make the longest thread ever. But it MUST make sense, not random gibberish... so let's hop to it.

Hi everyone, how was your day?

I bet ya my day was worse...

I had to go to my niece's babtism, so I had to stay up for this easter mass (which is part of a religion I don't even believe in, don't get me started), It started at 10:30PM and ended at 8:00AM!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked

The good part is that I got this box with a huge chocolate chicken, a hollow one of course, but it had little wrapped eggs inside! so that was good. Very Happy

Notice most of my posts are around 12 - 3 AM? That's because I've been sleeping during the day this weekend. Confused

First day of school is gonna suck. Shocked

you ppl get chocolate.. I didn't get anything. nor did i expect anything. I'm glad though, better not to get anything, not to need anything, and not to want anything.

anyways, I spent easter sunday doing my biology ISU and playing gunbound. its so addicting / fun !

I spent easter alternating between Counter Strike, Gunbound and Obasan (a book I have to read for english). Then my friend whose going to leave for vancouver came over and we went to shoot some hoops. Then we came back and played gunbound and Counter Strike. So you might say my day wasn't all that eventful. I got a CD off of him though. Japanese Hits Vol. 7.

my easter was just as dull... i spent my time sleeping, playing ping-pong, watching walking tall(sort of lame) , eating and more sleeping... i'd say i slept for about 60% of my easter break lol Embarassed

Easter weekend?

Had its ups and downs. Less stress than other weekends. Got hw done. Played a little FF7 (yes, I know I'm slow. I only got it now. Laugh all you like. I still like it). Then there are friends who destroy your very existence by the things they do...all in all, not terrible.

I give up on RPGs, they consume so much of my time, then after Im done one, im like "why the hell did I just waste so much time on that??"

you think only having played FF7 now makes you slow?? Ive NEVER played ANY final fantasy. Exclamation I did, however, know that FF# means Final Fantasy #. Smile

oh yeah? do you know what FFX-2 stands for?
Is it just another way of writing FF8? (10 - 2)
French version of FFX?
FFXI?
FFXII?
Confused
My brother still doesn't seem to get what it stands for Laughing

The only RPG I like is Zelda: A Link to the Past, and then again I don't even think it's considered an RPG. Chrono Trigger looks pretty cool if I wasn't consuming so much of my time with Morrowind (oh ya, that's an RPG, great game Very Happy) and watching X-MEN cartoons and whatnot.

Why not? This is what bugs me about "RPG fans"

The Legend of Zelda. It's a Game in which you Play the Role of Link. Rearrange the bolded letters and what do you get?
Or maybe I'm wrong. Maybe to be classified as a role playing game, you have to have random battles every 3 seconds (battles should be turn based because that's what Square did with FF). And you have to get experience from the battles, so you can level up (levelling up means the plot is advancing). And you have to have a party, with at least 2 female characters for you male main character to choose one to fall in love with by the end of the game. Yup... RPGs...

That's always how I looked at RPGs, though Morrowind is not like that. I read on a ROM site that it is not considered an RPG, but kind of like an RPG.

Either way, it's still a pretty darn good game. Albeit the best game I've ever played, which really isn't saying much as I've not really played all that many games.

Well, that and OMF:2097...[sigh]...the stories, the stories...

ALTTP is probably the best Zelda game so far, but OoT could give it a run for it's money. I love how it was an awesome game when I was around 9 years old, and it is still as fun as it was then.

Zelda: Ocarina of Time for N64 is the best zelda game I ever played.
Zelda: Majora's Mask was too hard and involves too much thinking to be as enjoyable as Ocarina of Time, but its still pretty darn good.

Ocarina had an awesome environment and dungeons and it really got you wanting to help Hyrule (or at least for me), but since it is newer I don't have any childhood memories of it. I did buy an N64 just for that game though (and Goldeneye), and I want to try Majora's Mask but it's still damn expensive for N64 games.

Man, I get that all the time except I have to shit. There are these chocolate bars where I work that I always eat, except they make me go for really long craps. I once had to go 3 times in a 4 hour shift, but now I just keep some Pepto Bismuth close by.

Why on earth does it say that my upload rate is faster then my download rate? I download like 57 KB it's uploading 78 KB what the hell is it uploading *bittorrent*?

Author:  Paul [ Wed Apr 14, 2004 6:42 pm ]
Post subject:

maybe there are more ppl downloading then seeding? so you have to upload faster to ppl who are seeding?

Author:  jonos [ Wed Apr 14, 2004 6:52 pm ]
Post subject:

Yeah, Paul's right. Most bittorrent users are fucking assholes just like on Kazaa and Sharaza, all they want to do is download stuff and not share stuff. Bittorrent is dependant on multiple people sharing files, it goes faster than if only one person is sharing. So for an hour after you finish downloading something, just leave it open so that others can get it, don't just close it afterwards because then you would be an asshole. I hate people like that.

Post subject:

BUT WHAT THE HELL IS IT UPLOADING?!!?!?!?
Doesn't it upload the same file your downloading?? (well w/e part you downloaded?)

Author:  Paul [ Wed Apr 14, 2004 7:14 pm ]
Post subject:

I don't fully understand bittorrent, but maybe ur uploading the same file ur downloading to other ppl downloading? or maybe everytime you open it, you are a seeder for all the files u've got in the bittorrent folder, or w/e all the files u used bittorrent to get?

Author:  Amailer [ Wed Apr 14, 2004 7:16 pm ]
Post subject:

what the helll, what i don't get is.. if it's uploading the same file that im downloading... how is it uploading more then i download???

also, what bittorrent folder? i got no bittorrent files on my comp except the one im using to download (file) from.
