So....how many accidents have you all been In?, How many almost accidents?

I've never had one...yet....I almost nailed a car, cause I was looking at a truck at the side of the road, and the car infront of me decided to put his brakes on.

Another one wasn't my fault...I was at an intersection, and theres only one lane...and the light was red...and some lady pull up beside me (she must have thought it was two lanes...) and anyways..then she cuts infront of me.

Another one was just stupid kids at my school....I was pulling out of the community center parking lot (its beside my school, I park there, cause all my friends do too) and there was traffic on the main road...so I was waiting in the parking lot..until it was clear...and for some reason some kid on the main road....stops and waits for me to go.....so then I go....and then in my rear view mirror I see him...and he goes into the other lane of the road (wrong lane) and then he reverses...I dunno....He was on crack I think....

I swear...if you can go a month in my town with out getting into a car accident...your a fucking amazing driver....people here are like suicidal, psycho, drivers here.

Amailer - 12 year olds can't drive Laughing

I haven't gotten my G2 yet, I drive without it Laughing My mom freaks out when I accelerate her minivan to 60 in 2nd gear to hear revs go up, she starts to yell "why are you driving so fast?!" and I'm just "relax, I'm driving speed limit" and laugh to myself Laughing jokes... I should get my G2 soon thought... maybe this weekend if I'm not lazy Confused

You have to make an appointment to get your g2, I know where I live....the soonest appointment was 4 months from the day I called. Good luck.

You also need a minimum of 1 year experiance, or 8months with drivers ed.

Yah, I've had mine since like august.
But....tonight I was driving, about 10 over. and a fricken purolator truck was on my ass....so anyways...3 turns later...hes still tailgating me...so anyways, I'm about to make my 4th turn...and were on this like road, that has seperate turn lanes....So I signal and go into the left turn lane.....and for some reason this pshyco purolator truck decides to pass me on the left.....he crosses a double yellow...and goes around me on that side....instead of just going to the right...where theres a free lane.

So anyways..good thing I saw him...or else I would have got smoked....but it would have been his fault, so it would have been good for a few grand.

I've only had to show a cop my license, registration, and insurance once....but I didn't have valid insurance...but he didn't much care.
We were going sledding, and I have a shitty car, anyways we pull into this parking lot, of the place we go sledding...and my buddy's in there van's decide to do doghnuts in the parking lot....so anyways....a cop pulls into the parking lot, and makes us show him our info. Stupid cop....then hes like....Then he asks me if were drinking tonight, I'm like no....hes like...you wouldn't tell me even if you were would you...I'm like no.

Stupid cop.
He was a nice guy though, let me off about not having valid insurance...its not like we don't have it though.....we just don't have the proof of insurance in our car, lol.

About driving, is it possible to apply to take the G1 b4 Im 16? and how would I go about it eitherway.

Author:  Tony [ Tue Feb 17, 2004 7:56 pm ]
Post subject:

you dont need to apply for G1... you just walk in the day of your birthday and write the test. You just have to wait in a really short line to get your photo taken Laughing

no u hafta get ti when ur 16.

Post subject:

Apply to take it?

Um...You walk in the building when your 16, and you pay them 100$, pass an eye test, get your height, and photo taken, and then you goto a little room they hand you a test, you anwser all the questions...they mark it, you either pass or fail, and they go over it with you. Then you get a temp licenese, (peice of paper), and your on your way, about 1 month later you get your card, and donor card

There is no applying...

Post subject:

hm.. so they let anyone take the test if they past the essential physical and stuff? So how would I go about preparing? and whats this building? is it government? like a designated government building that I could find on google? Im in waterloo

Well u shuld read the driving book if u wanna pass.

Author:  octopi [ Tue Feb 17, 2004 7:59 pm ]
Post subject:

You get the drivers ed handbook, from the ministry building, and then you read it, and understand it, and take the test, the test is easy if you have any common sense.

how much is this book?

Post subject:

i paid 8.00 , it used to be freee

Author:  jonos [ Tue Feb 17, 2004 9:59 pm ]
Post subject:

don't even buy the book
just take the test, fail, then you know what it is basically about, ask around for the answers. then retake the test (they will give you different one but its generally the same). that is what someone told me.

Author:  Maverick [ Tue Feb 17, 2004 10:02 pm ]
Post subject:

so waste $100 pretty much? cause it hink u have to pay $25 to take it again. So wuld u rather spend 8 or 25?

Author:  poly [ Tue Feb 17, 2004 10:37 pm ]
Post subject:

It actually doesnt cost you a Penny to write your G1 test.
Cause when you go for your G2 test it cost $100. Well guess what, youve already paid that when you had to pay $100 during your G1.
And if you fail your G1 it cost $10 for another time

Like I said, if you have common sense, and common knowledge (which sadly, not many people have both, or any.) You will easily pass this test....

It shows your a picture of a slow moving vehical sign, and then it asks you what it is...

I guess if you've never left your house, been in a city, or out in the country then you might have trouble....

Like where most of you live...I don't know how common it is for you to see trackers driving down the road, or orchard trucks. But its a triangle well...here this is what it looks like.

Don't worry about your g2....
I was so like....stressed about it...and I ended up driving soooo slow.
The guy told me after he should have failed me cause I was driving too slow., LOL

Just be calm when you take your g2, you'll do so much better.
It is a pretty easy test, where I live we went to st.catharines, the nearest big city, and we had to drive threw a stop light, and make a left hand turn at it, and then we went into a sub division, and had to do a parellel park, with only one car., and thats all I had to do, then I just had to drive back to the place.
