I like it , well done , i see that you r trying to make cervantes lok like a ghost , but i would have gone with a stronger transparent and less fuzz |

make the height , the height of cervantes and only have a little overflow , little offset Cervantes little offset so it fits the name and then just a little more on each side,, its always better to be longer than taller , bannerrs look better that way |

by little offset do you mean like this?
the space between the pic and the boarder and the pic and the CERVANTES part also for the blur of the pic I was just using normal blur, think I'll change that too a small horizontal motion blur. |

much better, maybe your font should have a different look more foggy almost like written with fog and fading away more on the left side because that side was written first... |

oh, right maybe not with Photoshop 5.5 but in 7.0 you can create your own brush tools, and if you have an Graphic Tablet you can write your name out using a custom made fog particle and if fades if you don't press as hard or you could add a fade... |

you can create your own Brushes that would create a particle effect.. ex: Draw one particle save it as a custom brush and use it as a drawing tool.. hehe, I'll try to draw your name in fog, if it's alright with you? |

absolutely. well drawing 1 pixel at a time is a particle effect I suppose but I don't think I'm really up for that.... how do you make your own brushes in 5.5? you sure you can? I must check this out  |

a bunch turned up when I had the bright idea to match Soul Calibur with Cervantes lol now I would like to get a picture of his swords alone to underline the CERVANTES part (the text) the only place I could think of getting that would be from when Cervantes wins a battle and his swords spin around him while he's standing there with his arms crossed. doubtful but I shall try  |

I can see it. how'd you do that xploder? I don't think i'll use this fog effect but it is cool. I discovered that in photoshop 5.5 the airbrush and paintfrush and whatnot have an option called "Fade". it works kinda like that except its not a particle effect, its more of a gradient. still, to utilize that in a name you'd have to write the name like with the mouse and that would just suck |

If you want a sweet sword , the only place to truly find one is final fantasy , the higher the number ( ie , : 11 ) the bigger the sword , theo on on the box its leterally about 20 feeet long , its 4 times the size of the guy holding it |

Have you ever held a real sword? I have, even a smaller one weighs like 30 - 40 pounds, and that sword was like the size of an adult's toes to armpit. If a sword is like 4 times larger, no one would be able to swing it around all day... sure it looks cool, but I'd like to see someone do that with a real steel sword. That sword below, looks like the guy is using it with one arm??? ouch. |

that sword reminds me of Siegfried's sword
Cervantes swrods aren't like those though...they are one handed and they curve kinda, (you can see what I mean in the pic you posted shorthair) unless there are other kinds of FF swords they use. paulbian > yeah I've held a sword and they are pretty heavy. remember, FF isn't real!!  |

i have 6 swords , i collect , i got sting for my birthday ( frodos sword 0 i have excalibur from a whase back , 2 samuri swords from when we lived out in hong kong , ( dont knwo how those came around but parents found em somewhere ) and the other good one is my Conan Sword its huge , real swords are rediculously heavy , but there are about 40 FF swords , just lok around |

hmm.. I googled Zelda sword OR swords and it came up with a lot of images but the swords weren't really what I wanted.. they were all good looking swords as opposed to evil swords that would be used by Cervantes  |
