He has always been there to fight evil in its many forms. Kicking ass, DRUNKEN PANDA STYLE!
However, on the eve of the v2 upgrade the Pandaren Brewmaster got struck by a powerful bolt of lightning. The electricity did not kill him though. It became drawn into all the alcohol in his system. The alcohol retained the electricty within the Pandaren Brewmaster.
This began a metamorphasis harnessing the electricity contained within him.
